Graham has built a reputation for creating paintings that capture the vibrancy of contemporary New Zealand life through realism, bold colours, light and shade with clear detail. While the beautiful New Zealand landscape is often the backdrop of his works, Graham likes to focus on how people live in their country and the imprint they leave on their surroundings. Graham was originally trained as photolithographer, and had a long career in the design and print industry including running his own design and prepress studio. He exhibits on a regular basis in New Zealand and has also exhibited in Australia and the UK. Graham’s work has been reproduced regularly into calendars, placemats, greetings cards and prints to emphasise its popular appeal.
